Insect Repellent

Effective natural repellents for use against mosquitoes, sandflies and other biting insects.

Recommended for babies, children and sensitive skin. Works for animals, too.

Main active ingredient: p-menthane-3,8-diol (PMD) – The only natural, highly effective insect repellent active ingredient recommended by the US Centre for Disease Control & Prevention to protect against insect borne diseases.

The PMD in our products comes from Citrepel® produced by Chemian Technology in the UK. Citrepel® is produced from Cymbopogon Winterianus oil (Java Citronella oil). Java Citronella oil is extracted/purified by distillation and then hydrolysed (to mimic the natural decomposition process) to produce the PMD. Citrepel® is registered under the Biocidal Products Directive (BPR) and is certified as a product of natural origin by ECOCERT.
